The Sant Trillo Ladies Committee have been holding fundraising event throughout the year, raising £500 for St. David’s Hospice and £300 for First Responders. Many thanks to all concerned.


The Betws y Coed Support Group are holding their Annual Christmas Fair on Saturday, 22nd November at the Glan Aber Hotel in Betws from noon until 4pm. There will be an entry charge of £1.50 to include coffee and mince pies.


It’s countdown time for the Hospice Annual Christmas Fair which takes place at the Hospice on Saturday 29th November, 10am – 2pm. Admission: £1 Adults/50p children. We would welcome all contributions of quality  Bric a Brac, hand made goods, books, raffle prizes, and as many bottles that can be mustered for the very popular and profitable Bottle Tombola. These can be handed in at the Hospice in Abbey Road between 9am and 5pm any day of the week between then and now!


The lighting up of the Tree of Lights will take place on the Cayley Promenade, Rhos on Sea, on Sunday 30th November. All  welcome.


The Mayor of the Bay of Colwyn’s Charity Christmas Carol Service in aid of Ty Gobaith and St. David’s Hospice takes place on Wednesday, 10th December at Horeb Chapel, Rhiw Road, Colwyn Bay. The service starts at 7pm  with Trystran Lewis, Colwyn Male Voice Choir and Children from Ysgol Bod Alaw. BBC Radio Cymru will be recording the Service.


Hooray! Circus Starr is coming to town on Saturday, 24th January. This year the show will feature Andrew Van Buren, one of Britain’s most highly acclaimed masters of illusion who can make people disappear in front of your eyes, and Peter Sandow and Company whose infectious style of physical comedy knows no boundaries of language or age when it comes to pure entertainment. Tickets to this fabulous family show are £11.75 and will be available on the door or in advance online.
