There will be a Motown Evening at the Deganwy Castle Hotel on Saturday, 12th January. DJ Dave Hanson will be playing the sounds of the 60’s & 70’s from 8pm until 12.30, giving you soul lovers plenty of opportunity to boogie away the excesses of the festive season! Tickets are £5 and are available from the Hospice (call Beth or Marie on 01492 879058) or on the door on the night.
Circus Starr - Xmas Theatre Tour is coming to John Bright School, Llandudno on Sunday 20th January 2008 to raise funds for St David’s Hospice. This show is packed with the laughter and magic of the circus and guarantees top quality entertainment for all the family. Tickets are £11.75. Show Times 1:30pm & 4:00pm. To date Circus Starr has raised £6,761.00 for St. David’s Hospice.
All at St. David’s Hospice wish to extend a big thank you to Ann and Pedro Martinez, Phil and Elaine Corfield, and all the loyal customers of Haulfre Tea Rooms for raising £1000,00 for St. David’s Hospice during the course of 2007. Over the years Ann and Pedro, and latterly Phil and Elaine, have been great supporters of St. David’s, and Haulfre Tea Rooms has been the venue for many a great fundraising do! Many thanks once again and all the best for the future.
Thanks to the Rhos on Sea Rotary Club and the generosity of the local community, the 2007 Tree of Lights Appeal has been a resounding success, raising £10,000.00 for Hospice Funds. This figure is set to rise when the ‘Gift Aid’ has been added and will bring the total raised over the years by this annual appeal and very special event to well over £62,000.00
St David’s Hospice is holding a spring Skydiving Day on Sat 14th April. Anybody interested should contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058 for an information pack.
