Nathan Thomason & Hannah Jowett from Penrhynside, took part in the Llandudno Boxing day dip to raise funds for St David’s Hospice. The nine year olds entered the water at a temperature of -7°c and raised £90 in sponsorship. They enjoyed it so much they plan to do it again next year.
Celebrate St David’s Day in Style at the Rhos Harbour Bistro. Enjoy an extravagant night of entertainment and good food to help raise funds for St David’s Hospice. The night will include a Live Blues Band, Magician, Resident Saxophone Player, Pianist and a 3 Course Carvery of fresh local meats and vegetables. On the Sunday 20th April, join St David’s Hospice in a sponsored walk with a difference. Taking place on the longest pier in Wales (Llandudno), the aptly named ‘Walking the Planks’ is a challenge to walk 5 miles (10 circuits) on the historical boards. There is a charity ‘Palace’ revival night at Rhyl Rugby Club on Saturday 23rd February (8.30pm – 1am) in aid of St David’s Hospice and St Kentigern Hospice. Tickets are available from Janet Jones 01745 585221 or Mike Roberts 07814223579.

The St David’s Hospice Conwy Support Group held a Coffee morning at St Michael’s Church last Saturday and raised £545 (inclusive of donations) in two hours! Thanks to all involved in making it such a great success.
