Sue Macmillan and Sheila Lloyd Jones from Pendyffryn Hall Caravan Park presented Karen Minor-Fallows and Gwen Thomas from St. David’s Hospice with a cheque for £1,700.00 which was raised at the Fun Day in 2007. A big thank you to everyone involved, in particular Lyons Holiday Park who donated £500

Tomorrow (Friday, 28th) is the deadline for the Digital Photographic Calendar Competition which St. David’s is running in partnership with St. Kentigern’s. However, we will still accept entries that arrive after this date as long as they were posted no later than the 28th.
The theme for the 2009 calendar is ‘People and Places in North Wales.’
Entries should be digital format, in full colour, and in landscape. The winning photographs will be included in the calendar, and the overall winner (cover picture) will receive a £100 voucher from Cambrian Photography, Colwyn Bay. Please join us on Sunday, 20th April when we will be Walking the Planks of Llandudno Pier. Pirate Dress is optional, but there will be a  prize for the fiercest!

There will be Band Night at the Litten Tree, Colwyn Bay on Friday 4th April, 8pm until Late. This event is being held to celebrate and welcome back the members of Clwb Beicio Mynydd Dyffryn Conwy, who completed a gruelling 270 mile ride during the Easter Break, to raise funds for St. David’s Hospice and the Air Ambulance Service.
Tickets will be available on the door on the night.

Tickets are selling fast for the Sixties and Seventies, and Motown Evening at the Deganwy Castle Hotel on Saturday 5th April (8pm), so book now!

On Saturday, 5th April Lesley and Martin Leeds will be cycling from Bangor to Connah’s Quay along the North Wales Cycle Route. This is Sponsored Fancy Dress Cycle Ride in memory of Terry Parry, and rumour has it that Lesley will be dressed as a ‘Bunny Girl’. Will Martin be a ‘Bunny Boy’?  Anyone wishing to sponsor Lesley or Martin should contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058 between 9am and 5pm 9Monday to Friday).

There will be a Evening of European Food and Song at Llandrillo College, Rhos on Sea on Wednesday, 30th April, in aid of St. David’s and St. Kentigern’s Hospices, featuring Amica del Canto (conductor Nigel Shaw).

Rhos-on-Sea Golf Club is hold a Charity Greensome Medal Competition in aid of St David’s Hospice on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May 2008 (Courtesy of Robin Jones)
The entry fee is £20 per pair for visitors and £15 for Rhos-on-sea Club members. Prizes will be given for the best gentlemen, ladies and mixed pairings.
Anyone unable to take part but who would like to contribute to this deserving cause in the form of sponsorship, donations, or prizes (golf or raffle) should contact Joan Leach on 01492 540516 from whom entry forms are also available. Closing date is the 29th April.

We are calling for donations of jewellery of any description.
All donations will be gratefully received and can be handed in at the reception desk at the Hospice in Abbey Road, Llandudno.

There will be a Table Top Sale at The Pavilion (opp. the Station) in Dolwyddelan every Friday  from 11am until 4pm. All proceeds from these sales will be shared between the Hospice and a fund to help keep The Pavilion open.
