The St David’s Hospice ‘Walking the Planks’ fundraising event took place this weekend on Llandudno Pier. Despite the wet and windy weather over 60 walkers took part in the 5 mile sponsored walk along the Llandudno Pier, many dressed as pirates. Thank you all to who braved the weather and help to raise over £1000 for the hospice.
St. David’s Hospice’ next sponsored walk will be on the Sunday 1st June. Aptly named the Twin Falls Walk this is a lovely, reasonably challenging walk of approx. 6 miles that takes in the spectacular Aber Falls (both the big and the little) and the glorious views from the North Wales Path. It is suitable for any moderately fit person with the correct footwear, and will take the average walker anything between 2 and 3 hours. For an information pack call 01492 879058 (in office hours)

We continue to collect unwanted mobile phones (working or otherwise), foreign and old coins, banknotes, medals, scrap gold and silver jewellery, and unwanted stamp collections. This for of recycling ensures a steady flow of income for the Hospice. These can be dropped into our shops or handed in to reception at the Hospice in Abbey Road, Llandudno.
