The St. David’s Hospice Summer Ball is taking place on Friday, 27th June 2008 in a beautiful marquee in the grounds of Fugro Robertson, Llanrhos. Tickets are £60 per person which can be booked individually or in tables for 10. The evening starts with a champagne reception followed by 4 course dinner including table of wine. A donation of £1000 has been donated to St David’s Hospice by the volunteers who run the Llandudno magistrates court refreshment bar. Since 2003 the sum raised has now reached £20,000! Thank you to all who work very hard to make this such a success for the hospice.
On Sunday 1st June hospice supporters will be helping to raise much needed funds whilst taking part in the Twin Falls Walk. Based in and around Abergwyngregyn this reasonably challenging walk of approx. 6 miles takes in the spectacular Aber Falls (both the big and the little) and the glorious views from the North Wales Path. Donations of items of jewellery and empty jewellery boxes are sought after for the very popular jewellery stall held at the annual summer fete. Any items can be handed in at the reception desk at the Hospice in Abbey Road, Llandudno.
