St David's Hospice | Hosbis Dewi Sant

Fundraising - 8th May 200808/05/2008

Please join us at Abergwyngregyn on Sunday, 1st June for the St. David’s Hospice Twin Falls Walk.  This will be the first time we have used this route for a sponsored walk, but are confident that it will prove every bit as enjoyable as the very popular Two Lakes Challenge. This is a moderately challenging walk, of about 6 miles. Good footwear essential!   Registration will take place in the community tea rooms above Yr Hen Felin Caffi between 10am and 11am. There is free parking at the entrance to the village (more or less opposite the old Aber Falls Hotel), and if that’s full we have permission to use the forecourt of Aber Original Pine workshop. For those who don’t wish to look  for  sponsorship, there will be a registration fee of £10 for adults and £5 for children. The views are stunning, and the cakes at Yr Hen Felin Caffi, are pretty good too!
For an information pack contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058.

There are still some tickets available for the St. David’s Hospice Summer Ball which takes place on Friday, 27th June, in a marquee in the grounds of Fugro Robertson Ltd. Tickets are £60 per person. These can be booked individually  or by the table. There will be a champagne reception followed by 4 course dinner which includes  wine. Music to suit all tastes, a grand auction and raffles. Anyone interested should  contact the Fundraising Department on 01492 879058 without delay.
