Aberconwy’s Got Talent - In July of last year a group of students from Aberconwy School got together and came up with a great idea to raise funds for St. David’s Hospice. Michael Turton, Sarah Johnson, and Emma Beckett tapped into all the talent in their midst and staged a talent contest that was a success in every sense of the word - a good night was had by all, and £1,071.00 was raised for Hospice funds. On behalf of all at St. David’s, a huge thank you to all who took part, all who bought tickets, and to Aberconwy School for facilitating this great event.
Once again the community of Henryd has come up trumps for the Hospice. The Coffee Evening which was held in the community hall on Friday 23rd May raised a staggering £1,080.00 for hospice funds. Thank you to all concerned.
It’s countdown time for the Annual Hospice Summer Ball which takes place in the grounds of Fugro Robertson on Friday, 27th June. This will be a wonderful night out, with good food, good wine, wonderful prizes, and the chance to bid for some truly amazing items in the grand auction.

Calling on all women to join the Dawn Walk on Saturday 16th August. This 9 mile walk will begin at Aberconwy School at first light. Many may wish to walk in memory of a loved one, and some may simply want to demonstrate their support for St. David’s and the service that it provides. Whatever reason you may have for joining us, we will be delighted to see you. The closing date for entries is 1st August or earlier if we are oversubscribed. So register your interest without delay!

Garden Open: Gilfach, Rowen, Sunday 15th June, 2pm – 5.30pm Adm. £2/children free.
Visit this beautiful garden and enjoy the homemade teas served by volunteers from St. David’s Hospice.
