The Crest Co-operative, in Llandudno Junction, who run a back to work programme, raised £884.00 for St. David’s Hospice by organising a Charity Car Wash at Llandudno Fire Station on Saturday 26th July. Crest Co-operative and St. David’s Hospice would like to take this opportunity to thank the Conwy Rotary Club, Asda, Woolworths, and the Fire Station for their support, and all at St. David’s would like to send a special thankyou and good luck wishes for the future, to all the members of the team.
On Saturday 6th September the Conwy Support Group will be holding a Coffee Morning in St. Mary’s Hall, Rosehill Street, Conwy. The doors will be open from 10am until noon, and there will be an entrance charge of 50p which will include a cup of tea/coffee. All the usual stalls and lots of prizes to be won.
On Saturday, 27th September there will be a Sixties/Seventies Motown Night at the Deganwy Castle Hotel and DJ Dave Hanson will be at the turntables, spinning the discs from 8pm until 12.30am. Tickets are £5 and available in advance, and you would be well advised to book ahead as it is not unusual for these to sell out well before the night.

Sponsorship money for the The Dawn Walk is streaming in, and at this stage the total stands at £3,501.64. This changes by the hour, so keep watching this space for updates.
There is still room left for anyone interested in taking a 3 Day Luxury Break in Yorkshire. The coach will leave Llandudno on Friday 10th October and return on the 12th and will include 2 nights in the Hotel Ramada in Wetherby.

The 2009 Calendar is also in stock. The calendar is the final result of the photographic competition that St. David’s and St. Kentigern Hospice held earlier in the year.
