Garden Open on Anglesey
Mr. & Mrs. Harris are opening their garden to the public on Sunday, 17th May. This small but beautiful, mature garden at Ty-Hir, Llanfair PG (nr. the Marquis of Anglesey Column) is well worth a visit. There will be space for parking at the Marquis of Anglesey Column and Tir Hir will be sign posted from there. Plant sales and refreshments available. Time: 10am – 5pm. Admission: £2. All proceeds to St. David’s Hospice and the Fuchsia and Geranium Society.
Please join us on Sunday 7th June for this year’s St. David’s Hospice Twin Falls Walk. This lovely, moderately challenging walk of approx. 6 miles takes in the spectacular Aber Falls and the wonderful views from the North Wales Path. It is suitable for any reasonably fit person, and will take the average walker anything between two and three hours. The walk starts from the Community Room above Yr Hen Felin Caffi in the centre of Abergwyngregyn, where all walkers will be expected to check between 10am and 11am. There is a registration fee of £10 for adults & £5 for children for all those who don’t wish to collect sponsorship. There is no minimum sponsorship requirement. The North Region Welsh Culinary Association and Signatures Restaurant, Conwy are teaming up to hold a Charity Gourmet Dinner and cabaret in aid of St David’s Hospice on Tuesday 19th May. This will be a fantastic night with delicious food prepared by some of Wales’ most talented chefs, together with a mix of jazz, swing and soul from the Manchester born vocalist Jessica Tansey. The Colwyn Choral Society Summer Concert in aid of St David’s Hospice is taking place on Saturday 6th June, 8pm at St John’s Methodist Church, Llandudno Tickets £7 Children & students £3.
