Fundraising - 9th June 200909/06/2009
Photo: Many thanks to Paul Jones from Llanrwst who uses his carpentry skills to raise funds for St. David’s. Using reclaimed wood from Crest Co-operative and R.L. Davies (Builders), Paul makes good, sturdy garden furniture which he donates to the Hospice to sell on, and there is no shortage of demand!
‘It’s my way of thanking the Hospice for the care they took of my son’s father-in-law, Dr. Compton.’ said Paul.
Photo: Reception staff at Conwy County Borough Council Bodlondeb, have given the Great St. David’s Coffee Morning Challenge a flying start, by raising £400 with a cake sale timed to coincide with the morning coffee break. Many thanks to all who bought and all who baked!
