Have we got a great night out in store on Thursday, 20th August? We do. And for Rod Stewart fans it’s a must , because  Ian Frankel is coming to the Colwyn Bay Rugby Club to perform his Rod Stewart Tribute Act. Ian is more used to playing to very large audiences, but this will be an intimate, mellow affair, and ticket sales will be limited. Included in the ticket price is a great curry supper!  All the ingredients necessary for a good out night with friends, so if tempted, don’t hesitate! Tickets are £10 and available from the Hospice on Abbey Road. Contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058 for details. The cut off date for booking tickets is before noon on Monday, 17th August.
This event is being organised by Angie Tompkins in her bid to raise the necessary sponsorship for taking part in The Great Wall of China Trek in 2010. Angie will be walking in aid of St. David’s  Hospice.

Captain of the Oval Bowling Club (Peter Rigby), and Captain of the Craig y Don Bowling Club (Tony Davies), together with other club members, presented the Chief Executive of St. David’s (Alun Davies) with  £250 raised by the Hospice Cup Bowling Match.
