The Rod Stewart Tribute Act which was due to take place on Thursday 20th August , has been postponed until Thursday 17th September. Apologies to all who were raring to go! However, we are taking bookings now for this later date, and there would be a good case for booking early as tickets are limited to 60 places and we anticipate a good take up. This event takes place at the Colwyn Bay Rugby Club, and Ian Frankel stands in for our Rod! Included in the ticket price of £10 is a curry supper, so excellent value and a great night out for all. Tickets are available from the Hospice on Abbey Road. Contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058 for details. This event is being organised by Angie Tompkins in her bid to raise the necessary sponsorship for taking part in The Great Wall of China Trek in 2010. Angie will be walking in aid of St. David’s Hospice.
