This year’s Annual Great Orme Sponsored Walk is taking place on Sunday 27th September. This enjoyable walk follows the route of the Marine Drive around the Great Orme starting and finishing at the Hospice in Abbey Rd. Entry for the event is £10 for Adult ( £5 for children) or through raising sponsorship. The Hospice Lottery Summer Superdraw will be drawn this Friday 28 August 2009 at 12.00 in the reception area of the Hospice. The Chair of the Hospice Trustees, Mrs Gladys Harrison, will draw the three winning tickets- £500, £1500 and the top prize of £3000. Why not join us to see if YOUR ticket is among the winners? You could stay for a delicious light lunch at Café Dewi. Who knows, you may be celebrating a win! The three winners will be announced on the Hospice website, and also in next week’s North Wales Weekly News.
There is a Colwyn Bay Pier Soul Revival Night as the Penrhyn Old Hall this Saturday (29th August). Door tax is £5 and open from 9pm – 2am. Donation from the profits will be made to St David’s Hospice. For further details contact Gaz Jones 01492 871874.
To avoid disappointment, buy your tickets today for the Rod Stewart Tribute Gig. Thursday 3rd Sept at the Colwyn Bay Rugby Club doors open at 7.30pm. It promises to be a great night out with North West Icon Ian Frankel (Aka Frankie) performing many of Rod’s classics. Admission is by ticket only and are £10 includes supper. Louise Davies will be raising money for St David’s Hospice selling plants and produce at the Bryn Pydew Fun on Sat 5th Sept from 2pm. The event will also include a BBQ and dog show.
Gill Wilkinson is celebrating her 40th birthday in style and raising money for St David’s Hospice and Happy Faces. There will be a bbq and disco at Panini’s Glan Conwy on Sat 12th Sept at 7pm. Tickets are £7 available from Gill on 07906343105.
The Bay Health and Beauty Clinic are celebrating their new make over with an Open Event on Thursday 24th Sept 1pm – 7pm.
