Glyn Jones (Chairman of Conwy County Borough Council) and Mrs. Jones, presented £450.63 to Wendy McIntyre (Student Nurse), Ann Boote (Support Worker), and Alun Davies (Chief Executive) of St. David’s Hospice. This money was raised at the Conwy Civic Service held at St. Mary’s Church, Conwy, on 13th September.
Saturday 17th October (eight ‘til late) is boogie night at Deganwy Castle Hotel. Dave Hanson will be spinning all the best known Motown Hits from the Sixties and Seventies, and we expect the joint to rock right into the small hours. So book your ticket now, or turn up on the night and hope there are some tickets left!

On Saturday 24th October the Motown and Soul theme continues with a Northern Soul and Motown Night at Aberhod Old Hall, Rhos on Sea. 8pm until Midnight. Door Tax £3. Across the board music.

Organisers of the Conwy Feast are calling for teams of five to take part in a Night of Pub Games on Friday, 23rd October, in the beer tent. There promises to be much hilarity and £200 worth of prizes to be won! And as the number of teams allowed is limited, it would be a good idea to book your place now.

Following the success of the Mediterranean Night which was held at Llandrillo College earlier this year, the organisers are putting on an Italian Theme Night at Romeo’s Ristorante and Pizzeria, 25 Lloyd Street, Llandudno, on Sunday, 15th November. If the earlier event is anything to go by, tickets will go fast, and advance booking is essential!
