Rev. Idris Jones from United Churches of Gaerwen presented Marie Lidgett (Fundraising Co-ordinator) from St. David’s Hospice with a cheque for £222. This money was raised through collections on Christmas Eve, Christmas Morning and Prayer Week for Christian Unity.

We hope that lots of people, in lots of offices and other work places, all over Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey, will take part in our Bring a Pound to Work Day on the 1st March, because we want to raise £2,010 on St. David’s Day 2010!

Angie Tompkins, is holding a Coffee Morning at The Presbyterian Church, Llandudno Junction on Saturday, 27th February. Doors open 10.30am – 1pm. Admission: 50p to include a cuppa and a biscuit. Angie is working hard to raise as much money as possible before she faces her ultimate challenge – A 60 mile walk along the Great Wall of China. Angie has already raised the minimum sponsorship and ensured her place, but is anxious to raise as much as possible for Hospice funds.

The Conwy Support Group and all the Hospice would like to thank everyone for supporting their Coffee Morning in St. Michael’s Church Hall on Saturday, 30th January, which raised £528.56 (inclusive of donations received).
It’s a Facebook world! Join the St. David’s Hospice Facebook group. We already have over well over 400 members and this is rising steadily. It’s a great way to find out what’s going on, to connect with other supporters, and share photos from events. Please join and help us hit 500 by next week.
St. David’s Hospice is looking for volunteers to help in the Distribution Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Based in Builder Street, Llandudno, the warehouse receives goods directly from individuals and these need to be sorted through before being dispatched to our various shops.
