Staff and pupils of Ysgol Gogarth raised £351.62 for St. David’s Hospice by holding events at the school’s vocational café. Many thanks to all concerned!
We have had a great response to the Bring a Pound to Work Day on the 1st March. It would seem that everyone wants to help us raise £2,010 on St. David’s Day 2010!

Angie Tompkins, is holding a Coffee Morning at The Presbyterian Church, Llandudno Junction on Saturday, 27th February. Doors open 10.30am – 1pm. Admission: 50p to include a cuppa and a biscuit. Angie is working hard to raise as much money as possible before she faces her ultimate challenge – A 60 mile walk along the Great Wall of China. Angie has already raised the minimum sponsorship and ensured her place, but is anxious to raise as much as possible for Hospice funds.

As part of their pastoral programme the Year 8 Students of Eirias High are planning a Sponsored Walk in aid of the Hospice on St. David’s Day. The walk will take place after school in the Erias Arena, and students are encouraged to wear something ironically Welsh. So daffodils, leeks and rugby shirts are sure to figure quite prominently!
A Golf Day will take place at the Rhos on Sea Golf Club on Monday 3rd May. All profits to benefit St. David’s. Anyone wishing to play and requiring an entry form, should contact Joan Leach on 01492 540516.
There are still a few places left on ‘Team Dewi’ for the Sponsored Skydive Day on Saturday, 18th September. So if you have had a pack, but have not booked your place yet, now is the time to do it. And if you haven’t got a pack but would like one Contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058.
