On Thursday 25th march a Charity Dinner is being held at the Bengal Dynasty, Llandudno in aid of St David’s Hospice and the Greater Sylhet Council. 6.30pm for 7pm. Tickets are £20 and includes sparkling reception and a four course meal. For tickets please contact Bengal Dynasty on 01492 875928.
Join in the hospice sponsored Teddy Bear Toddle, on Llandudno Pier. On Sunday 25th April the hospice is holding a sponsored walk for the whole family and Teddy too! The walk is 5 miles or 2.5miles by doing either 10 or 5 laps of Llandudno Pier. In order to take part you must pre-register, and all children and their bears must be accompanied by an adult. In addition to a £3 registration fee (to cover administration costs) we are asking all participants to raise additional sponsorship. There is no minimum amount. This event is ideal for pushchairs and wheelchairs alike, and you don’t have to be a child, or bring a child. Just be a child at heart! There will be a Coffee Morning on Saturday, 13th March in the St. Mary’s Church Hall in Betws y Coed. 11am until 1.30pm. Entrance: £1.50 to include refreshments. This event is part of the Great St David’s Hospice Coffee Morning Challenge which aim to raise £10,000 in our 10th year, if you would like to hold a coffee morning for the hospice please contact Beth or Marie on 01492 873664.
Are you looking for a challenge? Why not sign up for a Skydive jumping from 10,000ft, and if you raise the min sponsorship of £395 you get to do it for free! St David’s Hospice are running a sponsored skydive challenge day on Sat 18th Sept at Whitchurch. It is 6 months away so gives you plenty of time to raise your sponsorship. The hospice continues to raised funds through collecting mobile phones, foreign coins or notes and stamps. Any donations can be left at the hospice shops across the area or at the hospice itself on Abbey rd.
