The Bengal Dynasty, Llandudno are holding a Charity Dinner tonight (Thursday, 25th March) 6.30pm for 7pm . Tickets are £20. This includes sparkling reception and four course meal. Tel: 01492 875928. The event is in aid of St David’s Hospice and Greater Sylhet Council.
Take part in the Teddy Bear Toddle on Llandudno Pier, Sunday 25th April. This is a sponsored walk for the whole family and Teddy too! Participants have the option to walk 5 miles or 2.5miles. In order to take part you must pre-register, and all children and their bears must be accompanied by an adult. In addition to a £3 registration fee (to cover administration costs) we are asking all participants to raise additional sponsorship. There is no minimum amount. This event is ideal for pushchairs and wheelchairs alike, and you don’t have to be a child, or bring a child. Just be a child at heart! We are looking for fit and committed people to join our UK 3 Peaks Challenge Team. This team will climb in the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours (Friday 3rd September – Sunday 5th September 2010). The St. David’s Hospice Skydiving Day takes place on Saturday, 18th September when we hope to have a full team of twelve adrenaline junkies jumping from a height of 10,000 ft. Each jumper will be strapped to a professional instructor, and will experience the thrill of freefalling at 120mph before the parachute opens and adrenaline levels settle! If you have always wanted to do this, but the date does not suit, no problem, Skyline runs a rolling programme of skydiving days throughout the year! Friday, 30th April promises to be a big night at Venue Cymru, when a host of talent takes to the stage. The show, presented by Price-Drop TV’s Howard Sherlock features among others C.U.E. Performers; Inferno Dance Club; Anna Baker School of Drama; Pearl Shaw School of Performing Arts; Tickets: £13 Adults/ £8 Children Contact: 01492 872000. There will be a charity auction held on the night with all proceeds to St. David’s.
