The St David’s Teddy Toddle, is the sponsored walk for all the family. It takes place this Sunday, (25th) and is a 2 ½ or 5 mile walk along the Llandudno Pier (5 or 10 laps). Remember to bring your teddy or dress as a teddy! Let’s toddle for St David’s Hospice and raise much needed money this Sunday. There is a coffee morning today (Thursday) in St John’s Methodist Church Hall, Llandudno. 10am – 12noon Refreshments, cakes, books and a gift stall. All welcome.
On Friday 30th April some very talented young people will be ‘Taking the Stage’ at Venue Cymru to present an evening of dance and music. Many top Performing Arts/Dance Schools in North Wales will be represented on the night, and the show will be presented by Peter Howard Sherlock from Price-Drop TV. In addition to the dazzling entertainment the audience will have the opportunity to win a host of fantastic prizes, all generously donated by local businesses in order to raise funds for St David's Hospice. On Monday 3rd May, a Golf Day will take place at the Rhos on Sea Golf Club. All profits to benefit St. David’s. Anyone wishing to play and requiring an entry form, should contact Joan Leach on 01492 540516.
Saturday 8th May - Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the Motown Night being held in the British Legion Llanrwst. Doors open 8 until late and are £5 available from St David’s Hospice 879058 or on the door. All monies raised at this event will go towards Angie Tompkins ‘Great Wall of China trek’ in aid of St David’s.
‘Walkie’s at Aber’ – a sponsored Dog walk for St David’s Hospice on Sunday 23rd May at Abergwyngregen. The walk follows the path to Aberfalls and the North Wales Path. For an information pack call 01492 873664.
