A big thank you to everyone who turned up to take part in the Teddy Toddle on Llandudno Pier on Sunday, 25th April. We hope that at the final reckoning this event will raise at least £1,000 for Hospice funds. A very special thank you to Simon Mason (Llandudno Pier Manager) in particular, who as always entered into the spirit of things and dressed up as the Hospice’s very own Dewina Bear.
The Exhibition of Artwork by Betty Mills begins this Saturday, 1st May at Y Tabernacl, Upper Mostyn Street, Llandudno. The exhibition runs until the 31st May. This is not to be missed. Many of the drawing, paintings and embroideries will be for sale, and some will never have been seen before!
Times: Tues. – Saturday 10am – 4.40 pm (8pm on Thursdays). Plus Bank Holiday Weekends.
Auction of special selected artworks 6 – 8pm Thursday, 27th May
In addition to the exhibition Betty will be giving two Afternoon Talks with Tea and Cake.

On Saturday, 22nd May the Birmingham Signing Ladies are holding a Signing to Music Concert at Loreto Convent, Abbey Rd. Llandudno.

Don’t forget ‘Taking the Stage’ on Friday 30th April at Venue Cymru. An evening of dance and music. The audience will have the opportunity to win a host of fantastic prizes, all generously donated by local businesses in order to raise funds for St David's Hospice. Tickets for the Motown Night on Saturday 8th May in at the British Legion, Llanrwst, are available from the Hospice. – Doors open 8 until late. Tickets cost £5 and all monies raised will go towards Angie Tompkins ‘Great Wall of China trek’ in aid of St David’s. Tickets will also be available on the door on the night.
Garden Open & Plant Sale at Tir Hir, Lon Dryll, Llanfairpwll on Sunday. 16th May . Come along and bring your friends! This is another opportunity to see this lovely mature garden. Gates are open from 10am – 5pm
