Last call for ‘Walkies!’ - A Sponsored Dog Walk on Sunday 23rd May. All dogs are being encouraged to bring their well-behaved owners on this reasonably challenging walk of approx. 5 miles, which takes in the Aber Falls and the glorious views from the North Wales Path. Unaccompanied humans are more than welcome too! This walk is suitable for any moderately fit person with the correct footwear and sturdy knees. Those with four legs will find it no trouble at all. Registration takes place between 10am and 11am at the Community Room, Yr Hen Felin, Abergwyngregyn. An added incentive to do this lovely walk may well be the delicious home made cakes at the café at Yr Hen Felin, and the fact that as they are a little later than usual, the bluebells are bound to be spectacular!
There is a registration fee of £5 and it is hoped that participants will raise sponsorship on top of this (no minimum amount.) For an information pack, call (01492) 873665.
Don’t forget about the Signing to Music Concert/ Birmingham Signing Ladies, which takes place on Saturday, 22nd May at the Loreto Convent, Abbey Rd. Llandudno. Although this concert will be of particular interest to the deaf community, it is not exclusive so, and those with unimpaired hearing will find it equally enjoyable.
Time: 8pm – 10pm Tickets: £3 available from St David’s Hospice (contact Beth on 01492 873665)
