JOIN Angie Tompkins as she trains for her Great Wall of China Walk in aid of St David’s Hospice. On Saturday, June 19th at 9am, Angie is looking for walking companions to join her as she starts at the smallest house in Conwy and finishes at Craig y Don paddling pool for a 6.3 mile walk. All are welcome to come along and shake collection buckets along the way – any sponsorship is also very welcome to help boost Angie’s fundraising total. Call 01492 879058 for details and forms.

The Exhibition of Artwork by Betty Mills is nearing the end, after a successful month of the display and talks. Tonight (Thursday) from 6-8.30pm at Y Tabernacl, Upper Mostyn Street, Llandudno there will be an auction (free entry) and the exhibition runs until the 31st May.

Interest in our 3rd Dawn Walk is already gathering pace. The popular annual event takes place on Sunday, 22nd August and last year the three hundred women who took part, raised £20,000 for adult palliative cared in North West Wales. For further information or to register now, contact Beth on 01492 873665.

We still have places on the St David’s Hospice UK 3 Peaks Challenge Team, Friday 3rd September – Sunday, 5th September. For those already signed up or who may be interested in learning more, there will be a training and information day on Sunday, July 11th from 9am until 4pm. Meeting at Idwal Cottage (Ogwen Valley), the group will climb Y Garn and descend down the Devil’s Kitchen into Cwm Idwal. This will give everyone a chance to meet other participants and the walk leader, talk about fundraising and have any questions answered. For those signed up, the walk is free of charge but for others there will be a charge of £25. The day will finish with a cup of tea and cake at the Pinnacles Café. For further details contact Beth on 01492 873665.

Abseil down the Marquess of Anglesey Column and raise money for St David’s on Sunday, 4th July.  For details contact Beth on 01492 873665.
