St David’s Hospice is opening its doors to the community to spread awareness of what services the local charity
offers.
The Open Day event on Saturday, July 3rd will be a chance for the people of North West Wales to view inside the
Hospice, ask any questions and see how St David’s is meeting its charitable obligations.
The event takes place at the Hospice building on Abbey Road, Llandudno, from 1pm until 3pm, with a public meeting
at 2pm and will include presentations, videos and tours, with a chance to meet management, staff and trustees.
St David’s Hospice Chief Executive, Alun Davies said: “We invite the local community into the Hospice to see
first-hand the clinical and caring environment offered to adult patients with life-limiting illnesses and their
families from across North West Wales, completely free of charge. We extend a warm welcome to all of Anglesey,
Gwynedd and Conwy to come along on July 3rd and share their views on the future of the Hospice and to ask any
questions they may have about our services. It is our aim to integrate fully within the local community that we
serve and this is an important annual event for us.”
Café Dewi will be open on the day for drinks and light refreshments and car parking is available on-site.
