A big thank you to Shona Roberts of Penmaenmawr who raised £507.00 for St. David’s Hospice by wearing her Wedding Dress on World Wedding Dress Day.
On the 8th, 9th, & 10th of October The Penrhyn Players Pub Theatre Group are putting on a production of ‘Visiting Hour’ by Richard Harris at the Penrhyn Old Hall. Tickets are £5 must be booked in advance ( seating limited) enquiries: 01492 549579.
On Saturday, 20th October the High Sheriffs of Clwyd and Gwynedd present a Charity Fundraising Concert at Venue Cymru, featuring the renowned London Welsh Male Voice Choir with some very special guests – Aled Jones, Elinor Bennett and Eleri Owen. Tickets are £15 & £18 and are available from the Box Office at Venue Cymru. The concert is in aid of St. David’s Hospice and Crimebeat.
There has been a run on these tickets so early booking would be advisable.
The 2008 Calendar ‘A Year in North Wales’ is on sale in all Hospice Shops and at the Hospice in Abbey Road. This calendar, a joint St. David’s/St. Kentigern fundraising initiative, is the result of a photography competition held earlier this year when the public were invited to send in their best photos of anywhere in North West Wales. The response was fantastic. Cost £3.99. For an extra charge of 60p these can be sent through the post. For details contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058.
This year’s Hospice Christmas Card Selection is now available from all Hospice shops. All cards are bilingual and are £3 per pack of ten. For further information click on http://www.stdavidshospice.org.uk.
This year the Annual Hospice Christmas Fair falls on Saturday, 24th November. Although it is still early days we are eager to hear from anyone who is able to donate goods for raffle prizes or pledge cakes for the home produce stall. Please Contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058.

We continue to collect unwanted mobile phones (working or otherwise), foreign and old coins, banknotes, medals, scrap gold and silver jewellery, and unwanted stamp collections. This for of recycling ensures a steady flow of income for the Hospice. These can be dropped into our shops or handed in to reception at the Hospice in Abbey Road, Llandudno.
