Once again, the public has rallied to the assistance of St David’s Hospice and filled almost 129,000 envelopes for the annual mailshot appeal. Last year’s appeal raised over £30,000 and without the volunteer helpers, this would not be possible. St David’s Hospice would like to thank all the people who either took envelopes home to fill or came to the Hospice to help.
SECOND COACH AVAILABLE TO THE TRAFFORD CENTRE
Due to popular demand, a second coach is now available for a Christmas shopping trip to the Trafford Centre on Thursday 15th November. Tickets are £13 and include return coach trip. Pick ups are available in Llandudno, Penrhyn Bay and Rhos on Sea. For further information and to book a place call 01492 879058.
Join in the Festive Fun at St David’s Hospice Christmas Fair on Sat 24th November (10 - 2). Fundraisers are currently asking for donations of goods for the stalls such as bottles, raffles prizes, plants, soft toys, home made cakes to name a few. Any donations can be left at the Hospice in Abbey Rd, Llandudno.
Peru Trek Charity Challenge
If you have ever wanted to do an exhilarating challenge for charity here is your chance. St David’s Hospice are looking for adventurous volunteers to trek in the Lares region of Peru on a trail that will undoubtedly give you a true insight into Peruvian life and if you raise enough in sponsorship you will get to take part for free!
