SECOND COACH AVAILABLE TO THE TRAFFORD CENTRE
Due to popular demand, a second coach is now available for a Christmas shopping trip to the Trafford Centre on Thursday 15th November. Tickets are £13 and includes return coach trip. Copies of Timm Masterson’s winning photograph Puffin Island from Penmon Point are now available to order from St David’s Hospice. The dramatic photograph won first prize in the Hospice Calendar Competition earlier this year and can be found on the front page of this year’s calendar. Mount prints are available A3 for £20 and £40 for A2. To place an order please phone 01492 879058. All proceeds to St David’s Hospice.
The Hospice Calendars and Christmas cards are available from all St David’s Hospice Charity Shops and the hospice itself in Abbey Rd. The bilingual calendar titled ‘A Year in North Wales’ includes photographs from across the area taken by members of the public as part of a calendar competition early.
Preparations for the Annual Christmas Fair are in full swing. The following goods would be greatly appreciated cakes, jams, plants, books, bottles, raffle prizes, bric a brac and other saleable goods. The Fair takes place on Saturday, 24th November. Doors to open 10am until 2pm. Admission: £1 Adults/ 50p Children. There will be something of interest for everybody, and many bargains to be had at various stalls that range from bric a brac, to beautiful hand crafted goods. Santa’s Grotto is free to all children, and refreshments will be available.
The hospice is commencing a Book of Remembrance for those who have passed away at the hospice or have received support through the day hospice.
The Book will be located in the hospice’s chapel and any nearest relative who wishes an entry to be made can contact Christine Hamon at the hospice on 01492 879058 There will a service of dedication at the hospice for the Remembrance Book on Saturday November 3rd (2pm). Anybody wishing to attend please contact Christine Hamon by 2nd November 2007.
