The Llanddulas Choir and the Dovedale Singers held a charity concert in aid of St David’s Hospice and raised £1500. In common with many other male voice choirs, Llanddulas are seeking new members. Anyone interested should contact Ted Francis on 01745 823791. Rehearsals restart on the 20th November.

St David’s Hospice fundraising trip to the Trafford Centre trip is taking place next Thursday 15th November. Tickets are £13 for a return ticket with over 230 stores and 60 restaurants, bars and cafes there is plenty to do for everyone. Ideal for a Christmas shopping trip. Friday 23rd November, Northern Soul & Tamla Motown Night, Llandudno Junction Community Club at 8.30pm. Admission £5. Tickets available on the door. All proceeds shared between St. David’s and St Kentigern Hospices.

On Saturday 24th November, the St David’s Hospice Christmas Fair will be opened by Cllr Alun Barrett, Mayor of Llandudno at 10am. Santa will be in his grotto and all children will receive a free present. The festive stalls include Cakes, Tombola, Knitted Goods, Refreshments, Pet Stall, Games, Raffle, Bric a brac and Plants to name a few. Donations would be appreciated to sell on the various stalls and can be brought to St David’s Hospice, Abbey Rd, Llandudno.

The Hospice Calendars and Christmas cards are available from all St David’s Hospice Charity Shops and the hospice itself in Abbey Rd. The bilingual calendar titled ‘A Year in North Wales’ includes photographs from across the area taken by members of the public as part of a calendar competition early. Calendars £3.99 Cards £3 for a pack of 10.

Peru Trek Charity Challenge
If you have ever wanted to do an exhilarating challenge for charity here is your chance. St David’s Hospice are looking for adventurous volunteers to trek in the Lares region of Peru on a trail that will undoubtedly give you a true insight into Peruvian life and if you raise enough in sponsorship you will get to take part for free! For those of you with a passion for history, a sense of adventure and the desire to do something challenging for a great cause call us on 01492 879058 for an information pack.

The Hospice has secured six places, for runners to take part in the British 10K, which is due to take place in London on Sunday 6th July 2008. Anyone interested in taking part should contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058.
