Everyone is welcome to the Tree of lights switching on ceremony will be taking place this Sunday(25th), 4.30pm at the tree on Cayley Promenade. Organised by the Rhos on Sea Rotary Club, it is an opportunity to focus for thoughts and memories on lives of loved ones or to celebrate a special occasion such as a birth or wedding anniversary.
Santa’s coming to town…. Come and join in the festive fun at the St David’s Hospice Christmas Fair, this Saturday (24th) from 10am – 2pm at the Hospice itself in Abbey Rd, Llandudno.
The Santa’s grotto is free with a present for every child. There are more stalls than ever this year including cakes, books, bric a brac and beautiful hand made items. There will be entertainment from The Consort Castell recorder group and the Kaleidoscope Theatre Company.
Get your dancing shoes on this Friday (23rd) for the Northern Soul and Tamala Motown night at the Llandudno Junction Community Club. Tickets are available on the door (£5) which opens at 8.30pm.
Debenhams, Llandudno are holding a Gala evening in aid of St David’s Hospice on Tuesday 4th December 2007 from 6pm – 9pm. Tickets cost £3 redeemable against the first purchase. The evening includes Cosmetic Demonstrations, Free makeovers, exclusive goody bags, exclusive savings, free prize draws and complimentary refreshments. A festive display of lights can be seen at 15 Groes Rd, Colwyn Bay to raise funds for the hospice. Mr and Mrs Betteridge are lighting up their house for everyone to see in return for donations to the Tija Tanner Fund.
