St David’s Hospice and Ty Gobaith Hospices are both enormously grateful to the Masonic Grand Charity for the donations of £1991 and £2500 respectively. Both Hospices work closely together in providing an invaluable free service to those and their families with a terminal illness.
Ty Gobaith located in the Conwy Valley offers care to children from North Wales and St David’s Hospice, Llandudno to those over eighteen years of age from North West Wales. Circus Starr - Xmas Theatre Tour is coming to John Bright School, Llandudno on Sunday 20th January 2008 to raise funds for St David’s Hospice. This show is packed with the laughter and magic of the circus and guarantees top quality entertainment for all the family. Tickets are £11.75 (50% to the Hospice /50% to help keep the show on the road) Show Times: 1:30pm & 4:00pm. There are a limited number of tickets held at the Hospice. St David’s Hospice continues to collect unwanted mobile phones, foreign currency (new or old) and postage stamps to help raise funds. Donations can be made at any St David’s Hospice Shop or at the hospice itself in abbey Rd Llandudno.
New Year New Challenge! Why not take part in a hospice challenge in 2008?
St David’s Hospice is holding a spring Skydiving for hospice supporters on Sat 14th April. Anybody who would like to take part in a skydive from 10,000ft should contact Beth or Marie for an information pack 01492 879058.
The Hospice has also secured six places, for a team to take part in the British 10K 2008, which is due to take place in London on Sunday, 6th July 2008. Anyone interested in joining the team should contact Beth or Marie on 01492 879058.
St David’s Hospice are looking for adventurous volunteers to trek in the Lares region of Peru on a trail that will undoubtedly give you a true insight into Peruvian life and if you raise enough in sponsorship you will get to take part for free!
